Stardrive mod list

If I've missed anyone's mod, or they need it updating at all, just post here or PM me, I usually check at least once a day.
Also If you think there's some important modding info that needs to go here, again just post on the end of this thread or PM me.
Ive recently had a re-shuffle, language mods, in progress, and requested mods, are all shown in separate posts below.

Standard Installation Instructions
Simply extract the mod to your mod folder.


Version compatibility Stardrive versions are changing very quickly at the moment, check the individual mod threads for compatibility but they are not guaranteed to be up to date.


Detailed Installation Instructions
Using the mod manager is very simple, just place your mod in the location

"Stardrive/mods"

when you do this you should see one folder and one file at the location, like this:

"Mod folder"
"Mod file.xml"

You might also have to extract your downloaded mod first.

If you don't know where Stardrive is installed on your computer, right click the game within Steam, then press "properties" then open "file location".

Have a go at modding
Modding Stardrive is very easy, if your completely new to modding, have a look at my tips in this thread:

New to modding

and feel free to ask questions, also when your more confident there are various tools, guides, and useful info here:

Question. As StarDrive is now v1.11. Other than the Overdrive mod (which is great by the way), what other mods are compatible with the latest version of Stardrive?

As far as I know 1.11 has not been released yet, it still has a running change log, but even when its released it shouldn't effect mods greatly.

The main problem for mods, comes when changes are made to the localization file or tech tree, any mods that alter either of these may then get problems.

However not all mods have been updated since 1.08, when some large changes took place in both these areas

So pre 1.08 mods might not be able to work, the only thing to do is check each mods thread and see if other people have encountered problems.
Simple mods will often be fine through many versions, but some of the complex mods are constantly being updated and will get new releases for new versions.

When things calm done a bit i will try and re-order the mods with version compatibility, but that might take a long time to happen.
